لم تمنع تنشئة الإمام البهوتي وتربيته في بيت علم ودين أن يعج عصره بالکثير من البدع، التي تکمن خطورتها کونها زيادة دين لم يشرعه الله تعالى ولا رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، بل إن البدعة شر من المعصية الکبيرة کون الشيطان يفرح بها. والبهوتي کغيره من الفقهاء بيّن تلک البدع المنتشرة في عصره وأنکرها أشد الإنکار. وقد اتبعنا المنهج الاستقرائي بجمع آراء البهوتي في البدع وإنکاره لها بعد بيانها، والاعتماد على المنهج التحليلي بمعرفة اتجاهاته الفکرية والعقدية. وقد توصلنا لنتائج من أهمها: الدور الديني للبهوتي ومواقفه الحازم حول البدع التي انتشرت في المجتمع المصري، کذلک موقفع الواضح فيما ظهر من بدع في عصره وبيانها للناس وإنکارها.

Summary
It is not forbidden that the Baha'i Imam grew up and raised in a house of knowledge and religion that his era is filled with many innovations, which is dangerous because it is an increase in religion that was not initiated by Allah or his Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. Like other jurists, al-Bahouti differed among those innovations that were widespread in his time and denied them the most denial. We have followed the inductive method to collect the opinions of Bahuti in the innovations and the denial of them after the statement, and rely on the analytical method by knowledge of intellectual and doctrinal tendencies. We have reached the most important results: the religious role of Bahouti and his firm positions on the heresies that spread in Egyptian society, as well as the obvious manifestation of the heresy of his era and its statement to the people and their denial.
