هذا: ويشتمل البحث على: مقدمة، وتمهيد، وفصلين، وخاتمة. أما المقدمة: ففي أهمية الموضوع، وأسباب اختياره. وأما التمهيد: ففي أقسام الفرض. والفصل الأول: حقيقة فرض الکفاية وأحکامه، ويشتمل على: تعريف فرض الکفاية، والفرق بينه وبين الفرض العيني،  والمخاطَب بالفرض الکفائي، وما يتحقق به الفرض الکفائي، ومجالاته، و مراعاة الأولويات بين الفروض الکفائية، و انقلاب الفرض الکفائي إلى فرض  عيني، و الشروع في الفرض الکفائي . والفصل الثاني: دور الفرض الکفائي في تحقيق المقاصد الضرورية للشريعة الإسلامية، ويشتمل على التعريف بمقاصد الشريعة وعلاقة الفرض الکفائى بها، ودور الفرض الکفائى في حفظ الدين، والنفس، و العقل، والنسل، والمال. ثم اتبعت ذلک کله بالخاتمة والفهارس.

The research includes: An introduction, preface, two chapters, and a conclusion.
The introduction deals with the importance of the topic and the reasons for its choice. As for the preface; it explains the divisions of the obligatory.
The first Chapter shows the reality of the collective duty as well as its rulings, including the definition of the collective duty, the difference between it and the individual one, and those who are addressed by the collective duty, what can be achieved by it, its fields; while taking into account the priorities between such common duties, and turning of any of these duties into individual one, as well as initiating in a collective duty.
The second Chapter refers to the role of the collective duty in fulfilling the necessary objectives of Islamic Jurisprudence. It also includes the definition of the objectives of Islamic Law, the relationship of common duty with them, and the role of former in preserving religion, self, mind, offspring, and property. Then I ended all that by a conclusion and indexes.
