ملخص البحث:
الحمد لله وحده والصلاة والسلام على من لا نبي بعده محمد وآله وصحبه، وبعد: يهدف البحث لدراسة دور الزکاة في تحقيق مقصد حفظ النفس بالإنفاق على المرضى والمستشفيات التي تعالج الفقراء والمساکين، ومن أهم نتائج البحث؛ جواز الإنفاق على بناء المستشفيات والإنفاق على جميع احتياجاتها من مصارف الفقراء والمساکين وفي سبيل الله لکونه الطريق المؤدي لتحقيق مقصد حفظ النفس الذي هو أحد الحِکم المرجوة من تشريع الزکاة، خاصة مع ما نعيشه حاليا في العديد من الدول من قلة إمکانيات المستشفيات لمواجهة جائحة کورونا المستجد – کوفيد 19- مما أدى إلى إزهاق الکثير من الأرواح لعدم وجود الرعاية والمساعدة الطبية اللازمة.

 Abstract:
Praise be to God alone and prayers and peace be upon the one after whom there is no Prophet, his family and companions, and after: The research aims to study the role of Zakat in achieving the goal of self-maintenance by spending on patients and hospitals that treat the poor and needy, and I have relied in my studies on the inductive and analytical approach, Among the most important results; It is permissible to spend on building hospitals and spending on all their needs from the banks of the poor and needy, and in the way of God, because it is the path leading to achieving the goal of self-preservation, which is one of the desired rulings of zakat legislation, especially with what we currently live in in many countries because of the limited capabilities of hospitals to face a pandemic Corona Novelty - Covid 19 - Resulting in the loss of many lives due to lack of necessary care and medical assistance.
