يعرف الأمن النفسي کذلک بأنه : الطمأنينة النفسية أو الانفعالية لدى الفرد، وحالة يکون فيها إشباع الحاجات مضمونً وغير معرض للخطر ومحرک للفرد في تحقيق أمنه ، وهو حاجة من حاجات الفرد، إشباعها يجعله يشعر بالارتياح والاطمئنان ومن خلال شعوره بالانتماء أو تقبل الآخرين له والتحرر من الخوف والألم .
ـ في السنة النبوية، ما يؤکد أهمية أمن الإنسان في الجماعة التي يعيش فيها،  فالأمن على نفس الإنسان، وعلى سلامة بدنه من العلل، والأمن على الرزق، هو الأمن الشامل الذي أوجز الإحاطة به وتعريفه وهو ما تناولته الأحاديث الواردة في هذا الجانب ، وجعلت تحقق هذا الأمن لدى الإنسان بمثابة ملک الدنيا بأسرها .
ـ إن تنمية القيم الخلقية لدى الإنسان المسلم تعتمد على تکوين الوازع الداخلي في الفرد منذ الطفولة الأولى حيث يؤمن الفرد بالقيم، ويکتسبها ويتشربها ويضيفها إلى إطاره المرجعي للسلوک، ويتم ذلک من خلال التنشئة الاجتماعية، وعن طريق التفاعل الاجتماعي يتعلم الفرد أن مواقفه يجب أن تتسم بالخلقية وذلک حتى يشارک في حياة المجتمع بفاعلية.
