المستخلص: يستطلع هذا البحث الأحكام المتعلقة بالبخل، وتكمن أهميته في أمور: أولها: حاجة الموضوع إلى تأصيلٍ وتحريرٍ؛ لأنه لم يُبحث بحثاً مستوفياً من الباحثين حسب اطلاعي، وثانيها: حاجة الناس لإدراك حقيقة البخل وصوره في واقع الحياة والوعيد الوارد فيه، خاصةً في زمن غلاء الأسعار وطغيان الحياة المادية، وثالثها: إدراك قيمة الجود والكرم والحرص على اكتسابها وتعميقها في النفوس.
وقد اشتملت هذه الدراسة على: مقدمة، ومبحثين، وخاتمة، وفهرس للمصادر.
تحدثت في المبحث الأول عن تأصيل البخل من حيث: تعريفه، وأقسامه، وآثاره، والنصوص الشرعية الواردة فيه وآثار السلف، وأما المبحث الثاني، فقد اشتمل على تطبيقات فقهية متعلقة بالبخل، وفيهأربعة مطالب: الأول: البخل بالنفقة على الأهل، والثاني: البخل بالزكاة، والثالث: البخل بالعلم، والرابع: البخل بالجاه.
ثم ختمت هذا البحث بخاتمة بيّنت فيها أهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها، كما وضعت فهرساً للمصادر.

Abstract:
This research explores the rulings related to miserliness, and its importance lies in the following issues: the first: the need for the foundational study and analysis of the topic; Because it has not been thoroughly studied by the researchers according to my knowledge, and the second: the people’s need to comprehend the veracity of miserliness and its forms in the reality of life and the warning     sanctioned on it, especially during the period of inflation of prices and the tyranny of material life, and the third: realizing the value of kindness and generosity and keenness to adopt and internalize it in the souls.
This study included: an introduction, two chapters, a conclusion, and an index of sources.
       In the first chapter, I discussed about the foundation of miserliness in terms of: its definition, its divisions, its effects, the scriptural texts on it and the sayings of the predecessors.
The second chapter included jurisprudential applications related to miserliness, and it has four topics: the first: miserliness in spending on the family, and the second: miserliness in zakat, the third: miserliness with knowledge, and the fourth: miserliness with status.
       Then I concluded this research with a conclusion in which I revealed the most important results I had reached, and I also created an index of the sources.
